I imagine I’m one of the last people entering the world of craigslist.com

I was surfing the site, as it were, mainly checking out “writing/editing” telecommuting jobs (to see what’s out there) when I noticed “best of craigslist”.  Clicked on that.

Nice…there’s some pretty funny stuff on there, including open letters from people who were somehow annoyed or betrayed (i.e. a man riding the Red Line in Chicago writing to two “crazy” girls who were dancing on the train and forced his friend to dance with them, a woman promising to be THE “psycho ex-girlfriend” of your life, etc.)

Then I came to this subject, which made me laugh out loud.  The text of the message is also amusing, but not quite so explosively funny.

I am now drinking pop, and with some consistency!

To some, this will be interesting (I haven’t had pop with any consistency since senior year of high school), and to others, blasphemy!  But hear me out!

These aren’t the typical pops you see in the store - these are from the natural section.  Yep - they’re all natural (I know the ingredients!) and brewed in small batches.  No HFCS (high fructose corn syrup, for the newbies).

I’ve been laying into the Ginger Ale, to ease my stomach sickness, which is brewed with actual ginger plants and made with evaporated cane juice (as sweetener).  The crisp, spicy taste of the ginger and the natural sweetness are very pleasing.

Tonight - Ginseng Cola!  Yes, they’ve brewed a cola with ginseng, which is apparently one positive side effect away from being a miracle drug.  Just imagine if it encouraged erections!

Alas, here I am, finished with the cola, and pleased.  With no headache.

The brand appears to be “Natural Brew,” and they boast of their handcrafted production.  See what you can come up with!

Our 1995 Subaru Legacy reached 100,000 miles a few days ago.  Interestingly, it was dead on the mark at the end of a trip home - right where we parked it in our driveway.

So that’s nice.

This is a post which Siko might make without a comment, and definitely without a disclaimer.

Oh well.

Here is a funny video, which I think will offend no one who reads my blog (which is hard to say as a blanket statement when you have millions of readers).  Just in case, let it be said that I view this with good humor as a piece of culture, somewhat like an anthropologist, and in that light this video is interesting and hilarious.
